Along with Faye Wetherell he set about creating a company that put their clients and customers first. Using the best modern technology and positioning themselves off the High Street they are able to spend more time talking and meeting with the people who matter, the sellers and buyers.
Since that first morning when they opened the doors the company has gone from strength to strength delivering the sort of service that makes people want to recommend Lime to friends and family. In fact the first two years saw them not only win many admirers and advocates but also receive national recognition in the form of consecutive awards at The ESTAS for excellence in customer service.
Looking forward what does the future hold for the company? Kevin says “We want to be the estate agent that people come back to over and over again”.
Kevin, originally from Harrow in North West London, has lived with his family in Preston since 2002. He began his career in estate agency in 1985 and has worked for a number of the largest companies and various well respected independent firms.
He has seen the transition from typewriters to iPads and posting out sales brochures to posting on property portals but what has remained the same is his belief that estate agency is and always will be about people not property.
This wealth of experience has led to various appearances on television property shows, where thanks to continuing repeats on daytime TV he can still be seen. Today after all these years he still loves the challenge of guiding clients through the moving process.
Outside of work his latest passion is running, completing 5km and 10km races, helping to keep him fit, essential with 3 children (the oldest at university and the youngest recently started school) and a football playing family rabbit.
Faye has been with Lime from the start having worked alongside Kevin at a previous company. Her passion for customer service and making the clients feel special is legendary with many compelled to write glowing reviews and buy her presents.
Faye’s background in customer service, many years of experience in estate agency and knowledge of the local area along with her being a genuinely nice person mean your home move couldn’t be in better hands.
Outside of work she has her hands full looking after Bella her Jackapoodle (no we didn’t know what that was either – think small dog, cross between a Jack Russell and a Poodle). She also collects vintage tea sets and loves spending time browsing farmers markets.
